Das SkyPro XGPS160 Bluetooth GPS empfängt die traditionellen GPS Signale und zusätzlich Signale von den GLONASS Satelliten. Es können bis zu 5 Geräte verbunden werden, also z.B. 2 iPads oder 2 iPhones. Der GPS Empfänger hat eine automatische Log-Funktion, d.h. die gesamte Route wird intern gespeichert und kann am PC bearbeitet werden.

Funktioniert mit Apple und Android Geräten. Eingebaute Batterie welche ungefähr 10 Stunden Flugzeit leistet. Inklusive 12-30 Volt Zigaretten-Ladekabel und Anti-Rutsch-Matte.Kostenlose Status-App downloadbar im App Store.

Funktioniert tadellos
Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich setze es auf der Strecke mit Harrys Laptimer ein. Die Ergebnisse sind viel besser als mit dem eingebauten GPS des iPhone.
Der Service und Freundlichkeit bei kniebrett.ch war super. Keine Probleme und mega freundlich. Konnte die Ware nach Eintreffen problemlos abholen, so hat es noch fürs Wochenende gereicht.

Komfortables externes GPS
Dieses externe GPS macht einen gut verarbeiteten Eindruck, kommt mit nützlichem Zubehör, koppelt tadellos mit Apple-Geräten (iPhone und iPad getestet), und hat eine nützliche App zur Status-Beobachtung. Ich benutze das Gerät zusammen mit Jeppesen FD VFR. Service durch Kniebrett.ch wie immer tadellos und unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Hervorragendes Gerät und klasse Service
Ich verwende dieses GPS mit einem iPad und SkyDemon. Es funktioniert in dieser Kombination einwandfrei. Gute Akkukleistung, nützliche App zur Statusanzeige und handliche Grösse auch mit der Unterlage. Sehr gut geeignet fürs Cockpit.

Works as expected
Does what it is supposed to do.
Tested it in flight today with SkyDemon. Worked flawlessly. The SkyPro App for iPad (and iPhone) are simple but they function.
Good battery life.
The stickky rubber window fixing device works as well (was sceptical about this in the first place)
Good buy. Recommend!

Klein aber fein
very rapid answer (from kniebrett AND from Dual Electronics, whom I also wrote the same question) about the problem of heating in direct sunlight in the cockpit. Apparently it is not ... a problem. I will be able to confirm this in summer, eventually Ill come back to update.
Rapid delivery, quick startup, accuracy jumps immediately to about 3-4 meters, both on iPhone and on iPad. The duration of the battery with one device (iPad) was tested in my car :-) and is really about 10-12 hours, and this is the first recharge. The status app freely downloadable from the AppStore is also interesting, providing a good mean to evaluate different locations. For example I found out (to be honest, in my car) that the Fix Accuracy in ForeFlight the accuracy was the same (3-4 m) if I put the device in the side window or in a very forward position under the windscreen of the car.
So I am satisfied, even if at the moment I could not test the device in flight.
