Das Warten hat sich gelohnt!
Ein tolles Gerät, autonom, keine Installation nötig, einfache Positionierung mit Velcro oder RAM Mount. Tolle Auflösung des kleinen Display mit allen benötigten Infos. Bei mehreren Zielen lassen sich diese durchscrollen mit den jeweiligen Detailangaben.
Die Akku-Laufzeit reicht für einen Tagesausflug vollkommen aus.

Question

Ich habe noch die alte Flarmbox. F7. Ist mit mit dem neuen Powerflarm Plug and Play möglich oder müssen hier auch neue Anschlusskabel gelegt werden ? Ausserdem betreibe ich ein Externes Display sowie den Sotecc haubenblitzer mit dem Flarm

Die RJ45 Buchse vom Classic-Flarm F7 ist Pinkompatibel zu der RJ45 Buchse von den verschiedenen Powerflarm Geräten (zB Powerflarm Fusion oder Powerflarm Flex). Das heisst da können die gleichen Kabel und externen Displays verwendet werden. Das Powerflarm Fusion hat aber zusätzlich noch eine Sub-D9 Buchse. Das hat die gleichen Funktionen wie die RJ45 Buchse (Stromversorgung und Daten zum Display), ist aber natürlich ein anderer Stecker. Wenn man 2 unabhängige Displays an die 2 Buchsen anschliessen will, müsste man eines von beiden mit einem Sub-D9 Stecker verkabeln.

Wenn das Display und der Haubenblitzer mit der gleichen Baudrate konfiguriert sind und über einen Y splitter an der RJ45 Buchse hängen, dann geht das genau so auch bei einem Powerflarm. Wenn eins von beiden bei dem 6 poligen RJ12 extension port vom Classic Flarm hängt, braucht es ein anderes Kabel.
