The RAM-B-224-1U consists of a 3.25" twist lock suction cup base that is connected to the base with 1" rubber ball. The suction cup is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth, non-porous surface. For best results mount the suction cup on glass or non-porous plastic surface.

Customer informed us to update his review with the following:

The suction cup tends to make a pressure difference equivalent to about 7000 ft of altitude. So if you fix it on the ground, you can expect it to come off at 7000 feet. If you fix it at 5000 ft, you can expect it to fall off at FL120. This is something to be aware of when using.
This is based on one data point. Would love to hear from others about their experience with this.
